GC-MS
Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy is a core competence. We offer fatty acid composition analysis as well as quantification of oxidized lipids. This includes eicosenoids (ie 12-HETE) and oxidized lipid products such as 4-HNE.
We also offer quantification of redox pairs which reflect redox balance of cell compartments: lactate/pyruvate ratio reflects cytoplasmic NADH/NAD+ balance; BHB/AcAc reflects mitochondrial redox balance; GSH/GSSG reflects NADPH/NADP+.
Redox Screening
We offer high-throughput library screening of your compounds of interest. Gauge each compounds effects on cytoplasmic and mitochondrial redox balance, lipid accumulation, oxidative stress and mitochondrial morphology in live cells.
This can be combined with GC-MS confirmation of live cell results.
We can also test live cells in hypoxia or normoxia.
Custom Assays
We have a small, talented team that is capable of quickly designing and implementing new workflows and assays. Our core competencies include GC-MS, qPCR, fluorescence microscopy, and multi-plex protein quantification.
Our lab automation is driven by Opentrons open source robots. Our data analysis pipelines are built using open source python tools, which allows us to be very flexible with how data is communicated to you and what types of analyses are possible.
